Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how Manifoxia (“we”, “us”) handles information when you use our websites and products, including Replay (replay.manifoxia.com).

Who we are

Manifoxia is a software studio based in Helsinki, Finland. For privacy questions, contact us at privacy@manifoxia.com.

What our products are designed to do

Our products help you view and organize media you already keep — on your device, on storage you control, or in cloud accounts you connect. We aim not to become another place that stores a copy of your library.

Information we process

Depending on the product and how you use it, we may process:

• Media you choose to open. Photos, videos, and related metadata that you select from local folders/files, network storage, or connected cloud accounts. For local and many self-hosted sources, this media stays on your devices or storage; we do not upload it to Manifoxia servers as part of normal viewing.
• Cloud account connections. If you sign in to a provider (for example Google Photos, Google Drive, OneDrive, or iCloud Drive), that provider authenticates you. We receive tokens or credentials needed to request the media you authorize, and we use them only to provide the feature you requested.
• App preferences and local state. Settings, favorites, hidden items, indexes, and similar flags may be stored locally on your device (for example in browser storage for a progressive web app) so the product can work after you leave and return.
• Technical logs. Our hosting providers may automatically receive standard request data such as IP address, user agent, and timestamps when you load our websites. We use this for security, reliability, and abuse prevention — not for advertising profiles.
• Support messages. If you email us, we receive the content of that message and your email address so we can reply.

What we do not do

• We do not sell your personal information.
• We do not use your media library to train advertising audiences.
• We do not move or delete your original files as part of normal product operation. Flags such as favorites or “hidden” live in the app, not by rearranging your originals.
• We do not require a Manifoxia account to use Replay today.

Third-party services

When you connect a cloud provider, their privacy policy also applies to data they hold. Streaming or listing content from those services happens over encrypted connections after you sign in. Hosting and domain infrastructure (for example Cloudflare) may process technical request data as described above.

Children

Our products are not directed at children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Data retention

Local preferences remain on your device until you clear site data, uninstall the app, or otherwise remove them. Cloud tokens last until you disconnect the account or they expire. Support emails are kept as long as needed to resolve your request and meet legal obligations. Server access logs are retained only for a limited operational period.

Your choices

• Disconnect cloud accounts from within the product when available.
• Clear browser / app site data to remove local indexes and preferences.
• Contact privacy@manifoxia.com to ask questions or request assistance with data we may hold (for example support correspondence).

If you are in the EEA, UK, or a similar jurisdiction, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict certain processing, and to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.

International transfers

We are based in Finland. Infrastructure providers may process technical data in other countries. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards offered by those providers.

Changes

We may update this policy as products evolve. We will revise the “Last updated” date above and, when changes are material, take additional steps that are reasonable in context.
